Shipping Costs

We offer flat rate shipping charges to major capital cities and metropolitan areas. Shipping charges are calculated on volumetric or gross weight of the package and the greater weight is used to calculate the price. In most cases orders are made up of a mixture of light and heavy goods, however, if you have a number of light weight items in your order i.e. crisps, tea bags you may be subject to volumetric weight which may increase your charges. In order to see your delivery costs, please add items to your cart. Your cart will keep a track of your weight and delivery costs will be shown at checkout.

There is no minimum or maximum weight restriction, you can ‘shop as little’ or ‘as much as you like’ however, we do offer a flat rate shipping fee of $7.95 up to 25kg for south east Queensland and $17.75 gst inc up to 18kg across most of the rest of Australia . It is advisable to make the most of the flat fee shipping allowance and maximise your shopping cart to its full weight potential.

Alternatively free delivery is available if you reside in a Redland City suburb, just enter your address details in the checkout page and free delivery will be automatically applied to your order.

All products are carefully hand packed and secured, to ensure that the products you have purchased are delivered to you in a perfect condition. However, British Food Company cannot be held responsible for any product damaged in transit. For your peace of mind we provide an email tracking service so that you will receive email notifications during your parcels transit.

Shipping Restrictions
At this time we are unable to offer delivery to PO addresses only physical addresses can be serviced. Shipments to rural or remote locations may incur additional fees, we will contact you for your approval should there be any additional shipping cost before we process your order. Shipping is currently only available within Australia. We will not send out orders on a Friday during warmer months so that your order does not sit in a hot depot or warehouse over the weekend and spoil.

Returns & Exchanges
We will be happy to arrange for a return of a product that you are not satisfied with, if that product is not as per the product description, incorrect product dispatched or unfit for consumption because of external factors such a mould. We cannot accept returns of opened or partially consumed items. Please email us on our contact page within 48 hours of receiving the goods if you intend to make a return, giving as much information as possible to assist us in giving you a speedy service. All returned items will receive a full credit or exchange, if the return is because of an error by us or the product is not fit for consumption we will pay for the return shipping to us.
